I've been stuck in week 7 for about 2 months. It just hasn't happened, because of one or another reason; but basically I've lost the enthusiasm I had when I started this program. Today I did W7R2. And it was fine, a wonderful run. I changed my route and it seemed to have helped. I do want to finish the program and keep running. When I run it makes me feel happier than if I don't. It seems that it feels me with energy.
I know, it is a matter of decission. But I wonder what can I do to drag myself out to the road when I don't feel like it. I'm intending to do W7R3 on Tuesday so that I'll be able to move on....
well done on re-starting 7. It's hard to motivate yourself to do things, but do keep using the blog and we can help. Can you persuade anyone else into joining the programme? If they are running, (not with you ) you will be able to offer advice and help. It takes longer than 9 weeks for things to become a habit but if you stick at it your body will begin to expect the run and you will miss it when you can't do one you planned. You are already feeling better when you run so that is a positive sign that your body and mind are responding to the exercise- try and hold on to that feeling. Good luck
