Tried another route tonight.5.5k with 40m change in elevation according to Endomondo but boy did it feel hard at times on the hills. As I started and ended at home I must have run down hill the same amount too. I'm just hoping it will build stamina for Saturday's Parkrun.
Incidentally was pleasantly surprised that my Adidas trainers were fine despite me forgetting about them at the back door in all the rain yesterday. They felt a bit damp when I put them on but the mesh is so light they seem not to hold the water.
