week 5 run 2 complete

wow that did not seem as bad as i had expected every time the runs get longer i seem to be dreading them more but then when i do them they dont seem that bad the only ones i have had trouble with are when i am on a down day in my head but i have not failed yet and the feeling when i have done each one is fantastic i really do then it has been more benificial for my mind than it has for my body I just wish that my shins did not hurt after each run but i am not going to let that stop me for now i have the big one on sunday 20 min none stop wish me luck.

  • I've just completed week five run three tonight. I am 47 years old & never thought I would be able to run for 20 mins but I am so proud of my self. I can't wait to start week six. If I can do it anyone can.

  • Keep up the good work! I suggest that you look into getting another pair of running shoes if your shins are hurting you so much. Or maybe, you may need to see a podiatrist to determine if you need shoe supports. Also, if you are not doing so already, do your runs on asphalt, gravel, or natural hard surfaces, and not sidewalks or concrete.
