Recovery from injury

Have been diagnosed with having bilateral stress fractures in both tibia's.

Its quite daunting at the moment trying to get around.

I can't emphasise enough about taking things really slowly, listening to your aches and pains and what your body is telling you.

I'm still up to do running, but once am back on my two feet (LOL) I plan to start right from the very beginning again. Didnt use the programme previously, but will definately adhere to it once I start.

Its great to call yourself a runner but no fun if you get hurt.

My question is - anyone else had this problem and how long did it take you to recover?
