Well about an hour ago I just finished the end of week 7. I know this sounds boring but I'm kinda doing the same loop on my runs, as I'm trying to beat personal record everytime. As always I so the warm up 5mins, then boom I'm off, the first mile is easy, kinda doing it in 8 mins or under. Second mile is on a neverending gradient, a pure killer. I'm achieving in the 25 mins of running just over 2.5 mile. I'm not an expert, but is this a good pace, I believe I could do more if my whole route was flat, but I find the hill work is pushing me. Bring on WK 8.

I can relate to keeping the same route, although you seem to be going along at a good clip. Much faster than me, anyways. I find doing the same route gives me a chance to measure my progress each run, and also a security blanket. I *know* I can manage this hill, I did it a dozen times before!
Keep up the good runs, and enjoy week 8.

If you slowed down on the first mile you would stand a better chance of increasing the pace on the hills and therefore finish faster.
My pace is still slow, I'm not concerned by it though. I'd much rather run a slow 5k than a quick 2k
