I started C25K about 7 weeks ago obese, unfit, nervous, running on a treadmill too embarrassed to go wobble-jogging outside. I am just taking stock of the changes: I now have an 'overweight' BMI, am half a stone lighter, am fitter, more toned and can run for 25 minutes at a speed of around 7.5km/hour. I don't give a tapir's armpit what anyone thinks, and I am frequently found 'breaking into' the local park at around 6 am to run in the rain. I have shed 8cm off my waist and 5cm from my hips. And I am sharing this particularly for all you lovely people on the early part of your journey with C25K, - stick with it, be brave, it works!
