Week 6 run 1 - done :)

And was trying not to think that it may be a difficult one as it's back to intervals again. But, it felt really good :)

Ran in the park again and it was a beautiful day, just perfect, blue skies, a bit cold but gorgeous. I think for the first time (outside anyway) I am sensing my paces in that I could tell when I was going too fast and slowed it down to conserve energy that I would need, so I feel I'm starting to get in tune with my running slightly.

Very very happy with how I'm doing. I monitored my speed at an average of 8.2K on the running sections, I don't know if that's good, bad or whatever, but it gives me something to work on now when I'm on the treadmill, which on the running sections I've been running at 7.8K so I know now I can up the speed.

Just one more lot of intervals and then it's all running woo hoo!

well done. I found going back to the intervals really hard after running for 20 mins & feeling as if anything is possible.

its great that you can feel if you are going too fast & slow down a bit. I find that really hard without the treadmill displays :)

good luck with the rest of the week. X

hey you :) chuffed it went well for you :) wish I knew what speed I was doing... Going to need that watch I been eyeing up...

Thanks :)

it was a good run but I think I over exerted myself because for the rest of the day I was exhausted and went to bed at 9.30 ( having started to fall asleep on the couch around 8.30 haha!)
