Achilles Heel problem

From about week 4 I developed a pain in my Achilles heel which is only being aggravated by further running. Dont want to give up, but dont want to make it worse either! Help - any advice?!

I would get it looked at if it's worrying you. To put your mind at rest if nothing else. Even better if there is a doc at your surgery with an interest in physio or sporting complaints.

Get the worry gone and work on the discomfort and get that gone then all the usual stuff about stretching and having a decent set of footwear but deal with the worrying! So long as you understand that is one of those do as I say not as I do moments :-D

Oh dear, I had Achilles tendonitis not that long ago and had to rest up and ice pack it for a week or so, I would see your GP and get some advice and I would definitely NOT run til it's fixed , Better to be safe than sorry hey ?! ;)

Definitely see your GP. Hopefully he or she will be able to refer you to some physio that will definitely help you and physiotherapists are brilliant at giving you tips to take care of your legs while exercising!
