Actually feel great and energised after my run …. And now at the end of week 1 already! Could this turn into a habit? Can I actually get to 5K in one go? 🤞🏻😁🏃🏼‍♀️.

Congratulations! It’s a great feeling to tick off that first week. I used to treat myself to something really little when I’d finished run 3.

Don’t worry about getting to 5k in the programme time. Most people don’t. It’s badly named-the aim is to run for 30 minutes. That will be a huge achievement. Masses of good luck to you! There’s loads of support here.

Congratulations on completing week 1 👍Well done .

No need to worry about 5k.

This is a time based program, not distance.

The aim is to run 3x30 minutes in week 9.

Have a look at this .

Well done! It's such a great feeling of achievement when you complete a run. Good luck with week 2 x

Yes, you can do it! I've just completed Week 6 (a 25min run with no walking) and if you had told me 6 weeks ago that I could do that I would have laughed in your face!!!! I remember feeling like I was going to die running for 1 minute in week one!! Trust the programme and don't go too fast - it works!

And also, it genuinely does become a habit too! I hate missing a run now!

Congratulations and keep up the good work! Also, don't stress it if you find some of the later runs tricky. I had days along the way where I was tired or it was super hot or I just went too fast and I found a run really hard, just have a day or two rest and try that run again!

Woo hoo! Well done Runforthedress ! Yes…yessss it will become a habit! And when it has you running for 30 mins you can take it from there! 5k in 30 mins or 5k in 40 mins is just as far…and a brilliant achievement

Thank you so much, I can’t believe I will become addicted but I would love it if I did! Just completed week 2 run 1 and it felt ok but lower calves a bit stiff so making sure I stretch lots. Thanks for your encouragement 😁
