I thougt as I was running my old graduation route this morning,
How elated I felt to run for 30 minutes ๐โโ๏ธ
How much hard work it was to get through some of those early runs๐
How exausted I felt..burning legs, breathing all over the place.. feeling like I couldn't go a step further..๐
But sticking to the program come rain or shine.. lockdown, treadmill runs to get me through ๐
Embarrassed how I looked.. not having all the right kit... ๐ฎ
I just wanted to give a bit of encouragement to those that are in the beginning of your C25K journey..๐
You're probably already hooked as I was, amazed at how you do progress through every run..no matter how tough it feels at the time...you grit your teeth, push as much as it takes to get that run done.. and tick it off.. elated when you did๐
And on to the next.. proud.. and posting.. asking advice (always ask) ๐ค
This forum is just the best!!!!
You'll find if you keep on as you are..
You WILL graduate..you will make many virtual running friends that see you through the whole journey and beyond! ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐
It's just that one step..one run.. dedication.. and all the absolute joy it brings to you ๐
The future you has so much more to achieve, ๐ฅ
I'd never in a million years have thought this was me.. but it is.. I'm a proper runner ๐
(Well in my imagination)
Still.. can you run... a 5K?
a 10K?
a HM? I've never gotten further (yet)๐
Yes one day you really can!!!
Go run and have fun ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐ฅ๐
Have you noticed all the hero images (as that's what they call them) for the Garmin challenges have a watch prominently displayed on the people in the photo?
No Nowster? Hero images? I've tried to zoom on the pic, but don't understand ๐
Can you see the watch now?
AHH I'm seeing what you are getting at now๐
This one for June Walking is even more obvious.
I think you might have different image's to my Garmin ๐ค
The same images also appear on the Garmin website. That's where I grabbed these from.
