I am just starting week 4 and frustrated with tight calves which meant I had to cut short the final run today.
To start with had an issue with left calve and all ok, then Sunday left calve really tight and today both tightened up during the run.
I have tried and continuing with the stretches and roller and other methods following online advice and trying to keep moving which helps, but stairs are hard and cannot run.
Not sure whether to drop back to week two and continue with shorter runs until they are in better condition.
Am generally fit, walk a lot and rock climb but guess it’s just using the muscles differently.

Thankyou, I will try the sleeves. I am trying to keep as mobile as possible as that seems to help, once I get past the stage of looking like I am walking on stilts.😊
