I've been doing really well with the runs so far. But the 2nd 8 min segment today killed me and I had to slow down to a walk for the last 3 mins. Should I repeat run 1 of this week instead of progressing to run 3 of wk 5?

Congratulations on getting to week 5 of C25K, yes, I would advise you to repeat that run, take a extra day off running, drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, run the running parts a little slower than you did today, good luck.

It is a good idea to fully complete each workout before moving on............you are training your body, not doing a checklist. You will be stronger next time.
Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.

Thank you, excellent advice, I've been doing the stretching and that helps a lot. But I definitely think I've not hydrated enough in the past two days. Will slow down - it's very helpful to have the voice of Sarah telling me what to do too!! 😆

Just repeat this run (Week 5run 2)There is no need to repeat the previous run that you completed , just the one you didn't complete !
Each run you do will prepare you for the next one so it's important to complete before moving on !
Perhaps give yourself a couple of days rest and make sure you are fully hydrated !
