Week 4 at long last, and an extra bit

I'm pleased to report that I've finally tackled week 4, and this time I'm managing the 5 minute run sections with no drama. I did run 1 with a friend, and set out for run 2 on my own this morning. I should have gone sooner, but I've had a migraine over the weekend, so I was a bit worried that I'd find it tough - but it was ok, and in fact, I tacked an extra 4 minutes run on the end, so that was 20 minutes of running in total.

Note to self - no more pain au chocolat for you, lady! ๐Ÿฅโ˜ ๏ธโŒ

Nice run for you today grumpyoldgirl BUT as you say "no more chocolate" especially before you run. ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพ

I know Al, and there's a lovely bar of the stuff in the fridge, but I can't risk another migraine, so I think I'll have to give it to Mr grumpy!

Well done. But so sad itโ€™s delicious treat that sets off the migraine. ๐Ÿ˜ข Pity it couldnโ€™t be something you donโ€™t much care for anyway. ๐Ÿ™„ Just started W5 on my reruns, so I hear you creeping up behind me! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Iโ€™m in week 4 too! (Though only did the 1 run so far) Great job! Hope to see you in week 5

Well done! Thereโ€™s a programme on Channel 5 this Thursday at 7pm called How to Stop Your Migraines. Might be worth a look! X

Thanks Jill, I'll have a look! I don't get them very often, luckily, but I was good for nothing on Sunday ๐Ÿ˜

Iโ€™ve had them for years, usually when Iโ€™m really tired or stressed but luckily I have good meds so I donโ€™t usually suffer too much, but I know exactly how miserable they can be. Hope youโ€™re feeling better now x

It is a big step up I feel, but then I've taken lots of little steps in between! I won't tell your friend, it'll be our secret ๐Ÿ˜

Well done.

C25K works as it is written.

Many much younger than you have done extra, only to regret it when they get injured.

Sticking to the plan is the safest way to avoid injury.

Oops yes I agree with you, I'm having to be extra careful, I'm not playing fast and loose with the program. Any first timers, don't do what I'm doing! I've been hovering between week 3 and 4 for about a month as I test my foot out.
