Just completed run 1 week 5. 5 minutes run/3 minutes walking etc. Can anyone tell me why the running time goes up to 20 minutes by run 3. It seems an awfully big jump!!!!!

How many minutes did you run for during each session, in Week 4?

How many minutes did you run for today?

How many minutes have you run since you started ?

Hi Daisyday1 Are you reassured now? Do you understand why it's 20 minutes?

Don't worry Daisyday1 , just read the "Week 5 myths busted" post to which others have linked. The main challenge is psychological, not physical. Breaking it down mentally into five-minute sections might help - you already know you can run for five minutes. You can do this!

I remember being really worried too. You will be fine. And what a sense of achievement you will have afterwards! You will never look back.
