Me, trainers on, treadmill and fan on, I'm ready!

Also me, you'll need a drink, that fans too blowy, where's the cat?

Me, nice steady 30 mins, I'll walk first at 6km/h.

Also me, ouch! Calves are gonna hurt! Then the hip will join in and, if I can, I'll throw in shin splint too!!!😱

Me, the calves will warm up soon and once I get to 10 minutes nothing will niggle 🙂

Also me, If you even get to 10 minutes!🙄

Me, there, got to 15 minutes, half way! And before 'also me' can chip in, it's less than half way now 😛

Also me, well, if you stopped now that's still ok!

Me, I'm sure I can get to 20 minutes, it's feeling ok. 🙂

Me, 20 minutes done, 3 more songs and we're walking again 🙂

"Also me" is so negative until the end, I can't distract her, if I ignore her she just shouts, sometimes she's quite funny but mostly she's the reason I carry on!

Thanks, I've seen a few posts recently regarding our inner self trying to sabotage our runs, mines an absolute pain but I wouldn't be without her, I need to prove her wrong 😂

This amused me, but well done, I’m sure my gremlins would win the battle if I used a treadmill. I have had an exercise bike for years it spends most of it’s life in the cupboard brought out occasionally to use as a clothes rack.

I bought it because of the dark mornings "Also me" won the battle of not running in the dark, the treadmill made her sulk for a day or two! It's a godsend just now as my youngest has had a positive PCR and I'm not allowed to return to work until it's been passed (NHS) so I've done my walking and running on there. We have a bike and bench + weights, I never see anyone else in there except the cat 😂

Sorry , I do one walk a week at 6k and run at 6.2k the rest I do at 5.5k and 6k. I can't keep that up, I'd have a fit 😉
