It’s been a while

I completed C25K way back in June 2019... I carried on and a 10K back in November 2019... i enjoyed park-run and I even carried on running through the first lockdown - but then I got injured and slowed down, then I just pretty much stopped running in January 2021...

So 8 months later I’m a stone heavier and finding myself out of breath walking up hills.

So I’m getting back to it - run one week one tonight after work ... and park run/walk on Saturday

Posted on here in an attempt to make myself accountable and start again. I miss running. I miss being fitter. I bet it will be raining as I finish work...

I’ll keep you posted

Didn’t realise you’d stopped! Great that you’re back. Shame you’re going to cause it to rain, but it’s been really hot for running, so maybe some refreshing rain will be better? I found it easier 2nd time round. Have fun 👍🏃🏼‍♀️

Did it! It was definitely much easier than 1st time and felt good to be out - the light rain was lovely

Well done for moving onto the 10K that’s something I couldn’t do. Sorry to hear about your injury. Welcome back and good luck with restarting. I’m on week 8. 3 years after graduating. 💜🎉

Good luck on your return to running 👍 Accountability is a great motivator 😀

It's one of the reasons why I write up almost every run I do. The only exception was the weekend before last when I had to summarise two runs due to being away from home and busy.
