I have never done anything like this before and the thought of ANY exercise would is bring me out in a sweat and require me to lie down in a darkened room. But I’ve done it!!!!
So pleased with myself. Not only am I getting fitter but also my little running companion Marley, my dog.
Here’s to week 2

Just a warning - it gets addictive. I've just been out running at 7am in the drizzle when before c25k Saturday mornings were for a lie in and a cup of tea in bed. You can't say you haven't been warned...😆
Exercise, especially cardio like running (JOGGING!) does NOT have bring you out into a sweat - you are in control of the intensity/effort.
So, as a beginner, go as slow as you need to. Avoid breathlessness by going as slow as you possibly can. Sounds counter-intuitive, but it works and it's very important.
Watch this video and see how easily they can talk. That's what you're aiming for:
Congratulations. I could barely run the 60 seconds in week 1. When I think of what a state I was in after wk1run1 and now I've just done week 7 running 25mins non-stop. This programme has been life-changing for me. I wish you every success with it. 😊
Well done and keep enjoying. It’s a great program. I had the odd go at Parkruns before but kept injuring myself so thought I couldn’t run. Realising you could train yourself slowly and carefully with C25K was an eye opener. Me? Yes, I can run 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Enjoy, you’ll be amazed at yourself.
