W9R1 -5k✅

Me and Honey ran 5k today. Cannot believe we got this far to be quite honest! I wanted to give up after 15 minutes after Laura came on to say we were only half way. I reminded myself that today’s run is only 2 minutes longer than Fridays and Honey spotted a rabbit and dragged me on my way 😂. Honey did manage to slow down at times today, but she did keep pulling at times and I was close to running out of breath. I’m still researching ways to keep her from chasing wildlife but in the mean time she is pulling me into the 5k mark (just!).

Well done, I. Just about to start run w9r1 perhaps I need to get myself a Honey. Not sure my cat would be up for a run. 😺

Congrats that’s amazing!! Only 2 more runs and you’ve smashed it 🙌 wow you must be so proud and credits to Honey too! I admire your determination to keep going. Onwards to graduation soon…🎉

Haven’t felt like running and losing motivation at the moment. Planning to do W8R3 today but not sure how I’m going to cope in this heat!

Thanks Panda Eyes! I can’t wait to graduate now! Just think that you are ONE WEEK away from graduation, you cannot give up now. The heat is bloody awful. Could you run around 9:30/10pm with a head light or early mornings? I go first thing and there was still a gentle breeze. You can do this, one week left and you’ve done it!! Imagine where you were 8 weeks ago and how far you’ve come! 💜🥳🥳

Thank you for your words of encouragement ☺️ you’re right I have come so far to stop now. I normally run after the school run in the mornings. Evenings are not possible with three kids and usually knackered by the end of day 😓I read your posts and love how you describe your runs with Honey. My next run today is W9R1 🤞🤞
