I've done my first non-stop 20min run. Went really well. Almost cried when Laura said you wouldn't have been able to do this 5 weeks ago! π
Week 5 Run 3 - DONE!!: I've done my first non... - Couch to 5K
Week 5 Run 3 - DONE!!
Wehey!!! Well done you!!!! Onwards and upwards! We're nearly there!
Congratulations on completing the week 5 run 3 !You will probably be smiling all day now π
Be mindful of week 6 runs 1 and 2 as they often catch people out with going back to walking intervals
Yes!!!! π₯³π₯³π₯³π₯³ Congrats! Must feel aaaaaamazing!
Fantastic! Isnβt it amazing how fast fitness builds up. Well done you πππΌββοΈπ₯
Well done!!! I should have done week 5 run 3 two days ago but the weather is awful and 20 minutes sounds really scary!Congratulations to you!! Hope you feel proud of yourself!!
Thatβs great! ππ»ππ»ππ»That 20 min run is a big turning point. I remember that was the point that I started to believe. Youβve got this!
Thanks so much Frizzbomb. Yes, I wonder if everyone has that turning point where they start to believe they can really do this. I think mine was the 2 x 8 mins in run 2 of week 5. It thankfully meant that the prospect of the 20 min run didn't feel daunting. It's an incredible programme and such an interesting journey. Take care ππ
I did week 5 run 2 last night abs found the 8 mins difficult. I couldnβt believe it when I got the the end of the first 8 mins that Iβd actually done it! Having felt exhausted at 5 mins the time before I seriously questioned if it was even possible. But 20 feels like a huge leap from 2x 8 with a walk between? π£ Iβm considering repeating run 2 a couple more days before moving on.
Well done Cressida, thatβs amazing! I think this is a run we always remember, itβs like a gateway to anything is possible ππβοΈ.
Wow you're doing really well. You must be really proud of yourself. πββοΈ Life got in the way of completing week four and I went too long without runningπ© so I went back to the last run of week three . Run three week four tomorrow . If I don't get up and go out first thing in the morning I don't do it.
I would like to complete the programme before I reach my 63rd birthday at the end of August. I can't believe I'm doing this and enjoying it.
Good luck
Snap! Also can't believe I'm doing it and enjoying it. And snap again - I have to do it first thing as well. Too tired in the evenings. Who would have thought I would run for 20mins non-stop. Wonders will never cease. I do feel proud of myself (and I don't often say that!). So glad you are enjoying it. It's great that this programme allows for that flexibility of re-doing runs. It's good to be able to use your own judgement and not to have to push yourself when you don't feel up to it. Thanks for you support and good luck, I really do hope you make it for your birthday πππ
