Hello - can I have some advice please? I ran my first run of week 8 yesterday afternoon in the lovely warm sunshine. I’d had a few days off as I’d had a COVID test (negative) but was feeling much better and ready to run. I was a bit worried about the distance but got into a steady rhythm and felt fine until the very last minute when I suddenly got much hotter and a bit dizzy. My heart rate - according to my Apple Watch (not totally reliable I know) was around 145 but it took longer than usual to settle down. My cool down walk was up a hill unfortunately which didn’t help. I was hot and a bit shaky for about 20 minutes but then was fine. I drank water stretched and got back to work on Zoom and have been fine since.
What did I do wrong? Am I ok to keep going? I’m 61 btw. Thank you!

Your blood sugar could be low. Eat something before you run if that is the case.
It could be poor hydration. As a runner you need to drink a minimum of 2.5 -3 litres of fluid each and every day, running or not, as mentioned in the guide.
Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.
Just a suggestion as I'm not a doctor, but try a small banana 1/2 to an hour before running. Also, as IannodeTruffe says, hydration is vital. As you say it was a lovely day and consequently you will have been sweating more throughout the whole day and most definitely during the run. To highlight this, I did W8R2 [but 30 mins] at 6:30 this morning. When I got back to the car I was running with sweat.Good luck and make sure you DO have your rest day!
