Just out of interest is it better to do this in the mornings or evenings.... I'm doing it in the evenings mainly...just wanted to know people's thoughts

Morning or Evening
Mornings for me. It’s cooler in the warmer months and I feel great when I’m at work afterwards (that’s when I’m not furloughed). I don’t think I could do nine hours at work then go for a run. Although it’s no fun in the dark mornings. Good luck with whatever suits you.
surely its whatever suits your lifestyle - every one is unique
It’s definitely personal preference and lifestyle. I can’t run mornings - it’s hard enough getting up for work! Evenings after work are lovely though - it’s a great way to unwind and switch off from the day. Best of all is afternoons 😊
Definitely down to personal preference !For me (when not working) its mid morning or early afternoon , when 8m back at work it will probably be early morning before work
I couldn't run after work , too tired
I prefer mornings but can only do that at the weekend or in the holidays. i have to run before tea after work during the week
I used to do mornings but now with work I do whatever I can, mornings, lunchtimes or evenings. Saying that I’ll probably have to switch back to mornings as it gets hotter as I overheat easily.
I think that depends on individual life styles and where they run.
I have a pub so when I am allowed to trade again before opening is easier for me which is late mornings (the same time I went to the gym, remember those days?).
That aside I run in a park. I've found that there tend to be fewer people out late weekday mornings and fewer other runners (luchtime runners who can't got the gym either).
So far, all but 1 run has been at lunchtime. It just fits better for me & my daughter (running buddy). Prefer the cool though so will probably have to rethink plans as the weather improves 🌤
Morning runner here, but then I am a morning person anyway. Too tired later in the day and I’d make excuses to put it off! I usually walk the dog as my warm up (he’s too old to run with me) then go straight after.
I also find if I do cardio exercise in the evenings, it makes it harder to fall asleep. Everyone is different though.
It really depends on what suits you. I am not a morning person in any way, shape or form so parkrun (remember them) and/or my Sunday morning group aside, all my weekday running is done after work (even in winter). It's kind of an after work decompression and unwind for me.
Some people do mornings, some people don't; I'm 100% in the "don't" camp.
