Well its happened, out for a early morning run on Saturday and twenty minutes in I hit a section of uneven pavement, landed on the ball of my foot but there was nothing else below me for my heel to make contact with (annoying). Anyway, everything seemed to stretch more than it should and it feels like I pulled my calf muscle.

Somewhat ironic given the reason for my unscheduled trip out was that I was having my covid jab in the afternoon and thought I'd squeeze a run in just in-case I experienced some side effects that would ruin my usual Sunday outing. For information, other than a bit of a headache for an hour the following morning, I didn't get any.

Any suggestions on what I can do to move the healing process along will be greatly appreciated.
