I'd planned to run last Thursday but somehow 'tweaked' my back, so I waited until I'd recovered. So yesterday I set out on a gentle run, just over 5k. The route begins with a downhill stretch, then flat along the river with the corresponding uphill bit at the end. It wouldn't matter if I did the route clockwise or anti-clockwise - this is Switzerland, it is a hilly country!
I was very happy with my time, 34 minutes in light rain. I was determined to keep going to the end, and was pleased I did!
I will repeat this route a few times in both directions, but I'll try not to focus too much on time - my main goal is simply to keep doing the distance.
