Have been completing c25k for rehab after a calf injury i was hit by covid last Sunday. Feels like I've been hit by a train, fatigue, aches and pains are just awful and completely debilitating.
Long road back to recovery and running I think sadly 😔
Stay safe everyone, this virus is truly dreadful

Sorry to hear you’re not well, part way through C25k I went out and felt absolutely exhausted, I was sleeping 14hrs at a time, I had a temperature I was boiling hot one minute and shivering the next, so I think I had a strain of it. It took me about two weeks but I did start to regain my strength and I completed the programme and I’ve gone from strength to strength since then. Be patient ok, you will start to feel better soon.
So many people in work have been hit by this second wave and they all seem to have been hit worse than last time. Many off for a month plus and when they do come back to work they are suffering fatigue. Rest up and look after yourself. Disappointing having to put the runs on the back burner but getting back to full health is more important.
Hi Jo, trying to get back into running after the death of my Mum in February from covid, arranging her funeral then setting up a care plan for my elderly Dad who survived covid, its been a tough time.I'm still feeling the fatigue effects of covid and after everything else have completely lost my motivation. Eating the wrong things, too much alcohol is affecting both my mental and physical health. I feel stuck in a bad place at the moment.
Did go out and do 6 x 5 min runs with walks in between but think I may go back to c25k w3 to build up.
Thanks for asking after me, hope you and your family are safe and well
Hi Nannyto2,I'm so sorry to hear the news of your family and current state of anxiety. You are not alone and will come through this year a stronger person.
Thank you Joe. I'm getting back into c25k and you're so right, so many families facing the same tragedy and challenging time sadly. I will definitely come out of this stronger I'm honour of my dear Mum 💖
