That's the key part for me. When we start to feel too slow or we don't go far enough, the joy gets sucked out of it.

I’m very late discovering this post, but thanks very much - how clever & insightful.😄 I was very active & motivated during lockdown 1, - I creamed along with daily exercise & hours of happy gardening. This time has been much more challenging. Part of that is PF striking again & drastically reduced running.

I’m off to do a minute of decorating followed by a minute on the exercise bike!! - No doubt those minutes will become elastic. 😂
