Week Eight, Run Three

This was my first run al-fresco since re-starting C25k. I'd left it a few days since my last run as I felt my knee twinging a little. All ok today so thought I'd brave the great outdoors with the gyms being shut. Took it steady and it was ok. Farewell Week Eight πŸƒ

Well done you!

My gyms still open, for now 🀞🏻 Found a running track while I was out walking today. Probably looked like an idiot trying it out for sponginess to lessen impact. Seems good. That’s my back up plan.

I wish they'd kept all the gyms open - ours was brilliant with their cleanliness etc and they are essential in my opinion for good mental (and obviously physical) health. Hope yours stays open - nice to have the choice for indoors or outside exercise.

Yes I'm extremely nosey and it was great to check out people's gardens. After graduation, I'll find some more scenic routes πŸƒ

Lol! I know exactly what you mean, plus it’s a great reason to get out of the house at the moment! Xx

Great stats! Treadmills serve a purpose and I use them too, but nothing beats being out there, sun, rain or snow (maybe not snow😬). Nearly there (again!) now - you already know that you can do this!

Thanks. Next time I'll only record the 30 min run (omitting the warm up and cooldown) so it gives a true reflection of pace. It's not very quick but it'll be something to build on πŸƒ
