CR2 - was a tough one as last run was Sat

Note to oneself, don’t leave it too long between runs. Boy didn’t I feel it.

Took me about 15 mins or more to get into the run / pace. I huffed and I puffed ( little pigs beware) until then !

I had a little spurt when I could see our home and the bonus was it was downhill a bit, quickest bit of the run. Still only managed 3.7k 8km/hr running time but got out and did it. Won’t leave it too long next time.

Happy weekend all 🏃‍♀️😃

Well done Jules. As you say, you got out there and did it. The consolidation runs are tricky because in a sense we’ve already achieved our target. It’s finding the motivation and wherewithal to keep it going. For me the attraction is fitness and how good I feel after a run. Beats drugs any day of the week!

Thanks D, yes you are very correct, the motivation is harder when you have graduated. I have had a very busy week and have felt guilty not making time to go out. Either to wet or dark, or having to wait for couriers, who then don’t show up 🤬.

You are doing super well and seems you still have your mojo 😃.

The after run feeling is fab, it gets me through the tough runs as I know I will feel amazing when I finish.

Have a good weekend 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

I did have a cheeky glass of wine at lunchtime 🤦🏻‍♀️. Perhaps that didn’t help 😂

Well done for getting out 👍

I don’t think the consolidation runs are easy , doing the 30 min grad run was just the start I’m thinking 😂🏃🏻‍♀️

I’m on number 5 and just did 3.8 tonight because I’m trying to stick to just doing 30 min and focusing on steady pace throughout with a slow start. I reckon can only get better with practise 😂😂

Just keep getting out there 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️

Thanks 😊. I had felt guilty for not doing a run earlier in the week.

Will keep at it, going to aim for Sunday 🏃‍♀️👍🏻

I'm finding the same thing, the more days in between the more I struggle so I've told myself that I will do every other day like during the programme.

Frequency I think might be key for me. Also because if I leave it too long I can see me talking myself out of keeping this up and I don't want that.

I really want to keep going so in this case, less isn't more.

You still did it though so well done and keep going 💪🏃‍♀️😁

Thanks Burkey 😃. I definitely left it too long, going to get out Sunday come rain or shine!

Well done on your commitment 👏🏻

Well done Jules! 💪🏼 Don’t worry about your distance right now. Keep on doing your thing, you’re doing so well 😃

I think as newbies we’re still trying to create a running habit. Have that grab your focus and you’re winning each and every session - you went out and did it! 🙌🏼

Big fat tick ✅ ✨🤩

Thanks CC ☺️. Going to keep getting some miles in my legs

Yes, I think you’re right, just need to carry on with a routine. I did leave it too long from the last run.

Have a great weekend 😃🏃‍♀️
