Not Parkrun at official Parkrun course

I ran my 16th (not) parkrun a day earlier than usual because the weather where I am in Central Scotland is lovely and sunny.

This is not my home parkrun course, however, last year I got two PB's at this parkrun course, 30.55 and 30.56 within 9 weeks, today a more normal 33.30, I enjoyed my run this morning, there were many swans in that Loch.

I very much enjoyed running round the official Parkrun course at Drumpellier this morning, the weather as you know is beautiful today, I meant to run at Drumpellier 4 weeks ago but there were roadworks near Gartcosh which would have meant I would have had to walk 5 miles to the park, run the 5K and walk back another 5 miles back to Gartcosh, anyway this morning I was very happy running again at Drumpellier.

Great stuff! It has been raining hard and windy here in the South East all day. I'm hoping to get out for a (not) parkrun tomorrow as I need to do a 5k as my final run of week 4 of the Magic Plan

The weather where I am is to be wet tomorrow from about 10am but a little better where you are, good luck for your (not) parkrun tomorrow and your week 4 Magic Plan.

A nice run for you.

We have set our alarm for "parkrun" time tomorrow to try and get back before the heavy rain sets in.

I hope the weather for your (not) parkrun tomorrow will be dry, tomorrow for me will be the first time since the 7th March I will not be running a 5K, enjoy your run as I enjoyed mine this morning. 😊 🏃🏾

No such luck! Geoff has just looked at the forecast and the rain is coming earlier, so we are going to get wet :)

It may be take away bacon butties unless there is room inside the cafe - we have been lucky enough to sit outside recently

If you begin your run earlier you could sit inside for the bacon butties before the cafe gets busy, in that situation when you finish hopefully there will be enough space inside it to enjoy those lovely delicious 😋 bacon butties sitting down.

Or they might not want us dripping on the floor :)

We will just run and decide what to do in the morning. It's not the end of the world to have a takeaway.

Every Monday evening for the last 15 years at about 8.45 I have gone to my local takeaway to buy a Chicken Burger or a delicious Fish Supper, they never closed at lockdown, always something to look forward to on a Monday evening.

Well done with your 16th (not) parkrun !

I was going to do one tomorrow, but feel like a rest this weekend 😁

Very wise of you resting this weekend, the weather due to Storm Alex is to be wet and windy, I enjoyed my run this morning on the same course as I have ran 4 official Parkruns including 2 PB's.

I am reasonably satisfied with my run and time thank you WillowandSola, the main thing is as you know is to enjoy the run which I did. 😊
