Just keep doing what you have been doing 😊

Get your kit on.. feet over the door. ..and you're off and running 😀

As for getting colder. . Gloves are a must. .long sleeves and running bottoms. . And make sure your trainers are in good shape 👍

It's mostly keeping on keeping on x

Good luck 💪

thank you - I have some good skins - I think they will be going on and I am loving my bum bag and wireless headphones. Gloves - right - that's on my shopping list

Autumn and winter running is a joy, so that really helps. Then I would say planning and preparation are key!

thank you - I will try and get myself sorted the night before then?

Are you running in the morning? Then yes lay your kit out. Do you need a head torch, hi viz kit. Have you got layers for when it’s cold? Also try and always run at the weekend and that can become your long run day when you start to go further. Can you run at dinner time, or are there times when you can run during the day?

I find that the dark days are actually briefer than you think. The clocks go back soon, then there are Christmas holidays (lots of opportunities for running there). Then into January and the days soon start pulling out.

Enjoy 😉

Thank you so much. I am a Stay at home mum but do voluntary work. Over lockdown I have timed my runs depending on whats going on - kids, weather, zoom calls etc. I have found when I run - Mon, Wed/ Thurs, Fri/ Sat - I do best and when I run in the mornings I am a hell of a lot better rested, less stressed etc although today I ran at 1.30pm and cracked the 5k! I think your idea of hi viz is a good idea for sure

The chilly air is your friend as a runner, perhaps a headtorch for darker runs, and remember be safe be seen get Hi-viz 👍

Layers, gloves and a buff and just enjoy the wonderful winter running.

I am so not a winter person - I sometimes wonder if I have SAD as my energy levels have already started dropping. I will switch to a lunchtime run I think but wonder if I could benefit from an app?

When you announce your graduation I will send you a link to a guide to post C25k running.

If you cannot wait, it is sitting in the FAQ Posts, which you will find in the Pinned Posts.

Can I announce it? I have run 5k today! How do I do that? Or do I have to run the final run this week?

Hi shahirakk I to have been diagnosed with SADs but find just being outside no matter what the weather helps a great deal with my mental health fatigue and generally feeling low try your best to keep up the running

Definitely the buff👍🏽👍🏽 It works wonders in keeping the air warm around the mouth in freezing weather
