Week 9 run 1 !! I did it... a full 30mins... very slowly...but who cares...I did it! It was really cold though and I'm a bit of a wuss so I nearly didn't go... maybe I'm going to be a fair weather runner???

Well done! I share your disdain of cold and wet weather. However, there is a simple antidote to it: dress for the weather and you need never be cold again. I wear a fleece and a waterproof jacket when running. Today, despite the rain and cold I was actually warm at the end. You smashed it!

will give it a go but I still don't think I will like rain and cold ;-)

You’ll get used to it. I think the exhilaration is even stronger when coming back from the cold and wet weather. Fortunately it won’t rain every day.

Ha, yes, my (Scottish) mother always says there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad choice of clothing 😁

Well done Caroline!

I heard that first from Billy Connolly.

"There's no such thing as bad weather — only the wrong clothes."

That makes sense, she’s a Glasgow girl and *loves* Billy ☺️

Seriously feeling the same. There’s a really comfort in having someone else saying ‘you’re doing fabulous’ at that moment when you could just take a wee breather! I think I’m going to be running week 9 for a while lol.

Our graduation group will all just have to keep each other going for week 10 and beyond!!!!

Thx 😘 xx

Might as well get used to the weather, there’s a lot to come. In my view there is nothing so nice as coming in from a cold run and then a hot shower, coffee and toast.

Needs a bit of a head shift but we’llworth it 😊
