I’m hoping to Graduate tomorrow. Been thinking about what to cross the line listening to. It’s been a huge big journey. I’m late 50’s with lots of bits missing due to the big C a couple of years ago. Started the programme to lose weight so I can have my abdomen reconstructed later this year. So I’ve gone with ‘Take me home, country road.....’ (Kingsman version). Wish me luck!!Might be raining a bit in the eye at the end of the run.

Good luck! I like Born to Run ("Tramps like us! Baby we were born to run!") for the midway slump but I always program "Senegal Fast Food" by Amadou and Mariam to kick in for my final few mins. The lolloping rhythm fits my tired gait but gives me a lift. It's in French so there's also a job for my brain figuring out the words (as far as my schoolgirl French can manage!)

The song that happened to be playing when I finished my run was ‘Ain’t no stopping us now’! How apt I thought as I pushed myself to do my 2nd ever 5k! And I managed to do it 2 mins quicker than last week!
