Sorry Mezziejay... have a meeting early tomorrow so as soon as hubby came home I went out this evening.

It started off quite eventful during the 5 min warm up our dog decided to run after a cat! Left it to my hubby to sort, can be distracting!

Then it was time to run, kept waiting for Jo to say half way there... seemed ages, then I had a slight incline to run up, didn’t think I would do it but hubby kept encouraging me. Then last 5 mins was mainly a slight downhill. Was relieved when I finished, lungs felt okay but calves were starting to tighten up a little.

We were still 1.5k away from home so a good long brisk walk and I did do another 1 min run just to loosen up then a few mins walk and I was home.

Glad I did it and feel like I have accomplished something.

Mezzie... you will be fine. Also looking at Strava I think it’s official- I walk quicker than I run πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ πŸ˜³πŸ˜‚

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, I am glad that your husband sorted the 🐢 dog πŸ™€ cat situation.

Onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran πŸƒπŸΎ

Brilliant Jules, well done! I always felt distraction was a good thing but dogs chasing cats perhaps not so much..! Onto Week 6! 🐾
