Hey π Great that you got out for W1R2 - only one run left of this week (which most find the hardest!). Good to hear breathing, body and pace is fine. Left calf - are you stretching properly after you have finished your run? (You can find good exercises on YouTube). Are you drinking plenty of water on your rest days?
They will get better as your body adjusts to this new life π
I suffered really badly with my calves for the first two weeks. My dad is a physio and he advised me to focus on strengthening exercises with my calf. The best for me was to stand on the edge of the step on the affected leg, and lower my heel below the step.
I'm on week 8 now and my calf hasn't hurt in weeks! But at the time I really didn't think I would ever be able to run without pain. Listen to your body too though, if you are having extreme pain running then don't cause further injury
