So after 8 (or more) weeks of following this program, I am starting to see my legs muscles a teeny wee more toned now than they were in W1. I'm not overweight but I'm 50 and I was getting quite soft.
I'm happy with the health gain but seeing physical changes would also help to keep going. It also helps my moods, but it doesn't last for long, I sometimes feel like I should be running every day to keep out of the depression loop.
I'm interested to know if and when did you start to reap the gains of running regularly?

Prob after W6 i started to notice i could get back into my work trousers easier 😂 i first noticed my legs getting more toned and now ive started to loose a bit around the belly.
For me its just the overall feeling i get from running/crawling depending on the day. I just feel a lot better about my self physically and mentally.
I ve started to have a few more things planned, For example im getting into wild camping so that will be something ill be doing next year instead of sitting in front of the TV,
It woke me up at bit especially after being furloughed for nearly 4 months.
As I've said before, the spare tyre started to deflate around Week 3. People started complementing me on how well I looked too.
My weight is on a very gradual downward trend. I'll be deliriously happy if I hit 75kg from the 80kg+ I started at. Cutting out the biscuits has helped too.
I’m on week 6. I don’t think I’m losing weight, but I’m losing inches I think. I’ve been pulling my jeans up a bit this week, and a pair of my exercise leggings were a bit loose this week. I’ve tried to stay away from the scales, it was making me disheartened.
I haven't lost any weight to speak of but around week 6 or 7 I started noticing my clothes were getting noticeably looser around the waist. My legs are definitely much more toned and I feel better about myself now than I have done for many years. I get a real buzz from running - same as I did after a swim - and get antsy if I haven't run for several days.
I would say do resist the urge to run every day - as a new runner (and I count myself very much in that category) the body isn't used to the stresses of running and is quite likely to lead eventually to injury.
You seem like a quick runner well done on getting this far.
I didn't notice any difference if anything I've lost 0.1kg but my fat is down 1%, not that I can see it yet. And maybe I lost half an inch in waist size.
Thank you! I don't feel very quick, people keep passing me by when in the park. I do end up sometimes with quite a lot of energy to spare so I sprint a bit by the end.
