I got myself out into the woods for 8am - still very warm and humid. I decided I’d trying running with just my audiobook in my ears and no time reminder or coach. I knew my watch would vibrate at 6000 steps so I wasn’t running completely solo. I did have runkeeper recording but it was in my pocket and I’m definitely not safe to be messing around getting anything out of my pocket whilst running ...I’d be bound to trip and fall 🤣 I just jogged on until I felt I was done and unbelievably I was so close to the elusive 5k. Who knows...if runkeeper hadn’t randomly decided to pause itself maybe I’d have made it.
Two days rest for me now then I’ll try again on Sunday.
