Programme jump on my device

Does anyone else have a similar problem or solutions, when I run with my phone in my shorts pocket, my music jumps and even worse the C25K programmes, nrc programme jump or the timer sticks which really throws my mind when I’m trying to run for a certain time?

Your screen is probably getting triggered by the inside of your pocket. Similar things happen to me sometimes if I haven't locked the phone properly.

Perhaps put the phone the other way round in the pocket?

Also, there may be a setting in the phone to make the power button instantly lock the screen, requiring a passcode or fingerprint to unlock.

You can immediately lock the phone by pressing the "power" button on the top or side (depending on the model, see diagrams in link above).

Have you thought about putting your phone in a belt or in a sleeve pocket H2020? Much less likely to move around and be disruptive! ‘Flipbelts’ are quite popular here on the forum and will carry keys and even a little water bottle without being bulky.

Yep...get that the whole time. It’s because you don’t turn off your phone when you run with button at side. I used to get strange pictures of dark caverns appearing too which was the inside of my pocket! Final straw came when Spotify cut out and reverted to playing on my pc at home whilst I was 5km away...so now switch side button off.

And I thought it was just me that this happened too, as I am also useless at tech stuff! I also had the same issue as Timotea when somehow the app started playing on my pc at home when I wasn't even listening to the app! So, I'm taking away the advice you've been given too, and making sure I turn off the phone using the side button, thanks!
