Still not able to do WK1 due to hip pain

Hi, this is my second attempt to try C25K but I am still unable to run far without getting right hip pain. When I stop running/walking the pain stops. So I have been walking 3miles 2 or 3 times weekly last 3 weeks to build up strength to help me start and finish C25K. Just wondering if anyone else had similar problem and if you managed to overcome it?

How frustrating 😡 can you get to see an osteopath or physio? They might be able to help. 🤞

You need a physio

Welcome to the forum and well done getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

If the issue persists, then it seems likely that you need to consult a physio or GP.

Enjoy your journey.
