Well this went a lot better than I expected. Was slightly nervous about the prospect of running for 8 minutes. I started off a little too fast then after a minute or two realised I would not be able to keep up the pace for that long so slowed it right down and it quite enjoyed it!

This was actually the first time I have run to music and I think it really helped to make the run not feel as long as it was. So will definitely do this for the next one.

I tried to keep it to a brisk walk and then the second run felt really comfortable. I could have kept going for a bit longer.

The infamous R3 here I come!

Well I went out yesterday but by my better judgement I shouldn’t have gone. I had a headache before I set off and got to the 9 minutes mark and had to stop as my head was pounding.. I feel fine this morning though so going to have another crack at it!! 😬 💪🏻

Thanks!!! Feeling a little anxious about it today as I was expecting to have had it done and dusted yesterday. Just going to take it really slowly and I’m currently hydrating in readiness. Fingers and toes crossed!! Il be thrilled when I manage it.

Well done! Glad you found the second 8 minutes easier than me. Might’ve been cos it was lunchtime and quite warm. My throat was as dry as anything!

P.S. you put W2, not W5 oops

R3 is doable and I'm sure music will help distract you from the time. Slow and steady worked wonders for me.

Well done I totally agree running with music makes a huge difference. I have a playlist that lifts my running every time.
