Went to bed last night a bit nervous, had felt so tired and headachey yesterday and my knees sounded like they had bubble wrap in them every time I moved. I was thinking that my weight and general unfitness ( not a word) was catching up now the runs are longer and that Iβd struggle today.
But I woke up with a clear head and although my pre-run stretching felt clunky (not sure thatβs a word either π€·π»ββοΈ) I felt mentally ready to take on the challenge.
First 5mins of the run felt like forever as it usually does but by halfway I felt I was in a good rhythm with Jackson 5 and Wham helping me along π
Like all week for the first half of the run I told myself Iβd be happy to just get to the end but doubt Iβd have enough in the tank for a faster burst but just like every other run I surprised myself and was able to give it a little sprint finish. Knees didnβt bother me at all π
Still canβt quite believe Iβve got this far but I feel ready for week 8 πͺπΌ

Amazing well done! I definitely understand what you mean by clunky, I definitely feel like that a lot when I first warm up in the morning ππ youβll smash week 8, donβt worry!
Go you!! I so get this. I feel like a concrete elephant at the start of most runs but it seems to pass. Some of it is mental with me. You are smashing this. πͺπ»πͺπ»
