Having recently retired I've been plugging away at C25K for the last 5 weeks. I was a bit apprehensive about the 20 min run today and almost psyched myself out, but I discovered this site and all the good advice and assurance put things back into perspective. In the end I managed it this morning with no real problems and was pleased to find I'd covered about 3.5 k (over 2 miles in old money) which isn't too far off the pace. By the end I was actually enjoying it! I'm looking forward to week 6 now.

Well done, next week is interesting as you return to some intervals before going back to straight running.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

Thanks for the tip. It feels good to have done the 20 mins and it all all seems much more achievable now, but I'm sure its not all downhill from here on!

It's not all downhill but for the majority of runner's who have ran run 3 of week 5 they know they are on the home stretch and will graduate four weeks later, many people find week 4 is the week that they cannot continue with C25K and have to give up for various reasons, onwards and upwards to run 1 of week 6. 😊 🏃🏾
