Week 5 Run 3 - bosh!!

I did it! I was so tempted to "postpone" this run because of the heat but so badly wanted to get my brain and body past this one..... Went into the park where there was shade and a bit of a breeze and had to laugh when Michael started talking about this one being more about getting your mind around running for longer periods ๐Ÿ˜‚ ..... Couldn't believe it when he called the 10 minute mark and I just kept on plodding..... Never thought I'd make it this far....... Onwards and upwards (can you tell I'm just a teensy but proud of myself?!) ๐Ÿ‘

And so you should be! Itโ€™s a milestone run and youโ€™ve every right to be proud of yourself. Well done indeed!

Brilliant achievement W5 R3 is a big one and in this heat! Well done. Iโ€™ve postponed my run (W7 R2)to tomorrow as weโ€™re promised cooler weather and Iโ€™m not as brave as you! Just hope theyโ€™re not lying to us.๐Ÿคž

I think the first time I did W5R3 I didn't stop grinning for days, enjoy the feeling of completing the run, you've earned that and you've broken the psychological barrier, now you know you can run for longer periods the rest of the plan is there for you to do.

Be proud about what you've achieved to date and use it to help push you forward.

A word of warning though, week 6 run 1 and 2 can throw some people due to it going back to intervals.

Well done - especially in this heat. I am postponing my run until tomorrow even though itโ€™s making me feel weirdly twitchy. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Well done !

I'm doing the same run tomorrow and feel it's my head that needs convincing rather than my legs ๐Ÿ˜

Thanks - definitely think this one is a case of mind over matter!

You deserve to be a teensy very proud of yourself, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพ ๐Ÿ˜Š, try and run further runs as early as possible to avoid the heat.
