What a Programme!!

I cannot believe that today I completed W9 R3. It has been a strange period (as I will detail below) but I would not have been so determined and learned all the important things (like Japanese Slow Jogging, Hydration being essential, the warm up walk needing to push your body to get the oxygen flowing, Stretching being important when you finish and just trusting and believing in the programme to set off with a positive attitude) without all you wonderful people on this forum. I posted occasionally but read other posts avidly. It made me strong....which was good. I had 2 weeks off for Covid between W2 and 3, then I twisted my ankle because I fell down a rabbit hole on W5 R3 but still finished the run. Then I had a week off because my lovely, lovely husband died of a heart attack on 1st June; but he was so proud of me doing this that I got back in gear, delaying my final run until today which is his 78th birthday, and also his cremation at the time I was running. He did not want a funeral so no-one attended but we had a brilliant family socially distanced picnic yesterday on Father's day. My running gives me positivity although I am slow as a snail...I have also done all my runs at Old Sarum in Wiltshire which has the best views ever. Thank you everyone for helping me through. I kind of feel like a runner now!

So sorry about your husband but he would have been so proud of you on graduating and completing week 9 run 3 of C25K.

To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE 🎓 next to your username leave a message on the June graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated 🎓. You are a runner 🏃🏾.

Many congratulations on your graduation, fellow runner.

This guide to post C25k running may be helpful healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

May running bring you calm, peace and lots of little adventures..........keep out of the rabbit holes, though...........it didn't work out well for Alice.

Keep running, keep smiling.

May you have many, many more enjoyable runs but watch out for those rabbit holes. You are lucky it wasn't a badgers hole ! 😁
