Mission complete... For now

Sitting writing this post has got me a little emotional. I never expected to complete the plan. I have started lots of excersise plans before and just gave up.

Running three times a week has enabled me to find mental clarity I never knew existed. My anxiety levels have decreased and I come back from each run a better person, a more patient mother and generally a more chilled out individual.

Here's to more running, more goals and an acceptance to being more present in the here and now.

Congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻🏆 your spot on about the mental benefits, the calmness and confidence go hand in hand with the physical benefits, I’ve found I’m much more patient and happier. Enjoy your graduation day Stacyxxxx90🌟

Well done you! You should be rightly proud of yourself!

I totally agree with you about the mental benefits of C25K - they are perhaps more significant to me than the physical benefits. I started C25K at the start of lockdown and it gave me something to look forward to every other day. I didn't actually expect to enjoy the running itself, but I did. Now I love it!

I've just run 8K in the park with my bestie and my state of mind is calm and happy - like yours. I'd say 'keep it up', but just you try stopping it now - bet you can't! ;-)

I joined for exactly the same reasons during lockdown. It took my mind off the negativity that was everywhere.

Massive well done to you.. 8k that's incredible!

Congrats!!! That is so major... I'm so happy for you...

So far I haven't seen any mental health benefits. Hopefully they'll come along.

Take care of yourself and keep on running...!
