OMG I did it! I set off bright and early this morning when the air was still fresh and had such an enjoyable final run - I even managed a sprint(ish) at the end and ran 200m further than I have done before. That might not sound much, but trust me, with my hills that is a long way!

To all of those people following along behind and struggling with hills - take heart. 9 weeks ago I would never have dreamed of being able to run for even a few seconds uphill, and I have puffed and gasped and sworn a lot over the last couple of months, but it really does get easier. Ok, that doesn't mean EASY, it means that your legs and breathing will work better, and the pain will be less than it was. I can even begin to understand the wise advice I was given early on, to make friends with the hill! I wouldn't go quite that far yet, but there is definitely a thawing of hostilities πŸ˜….

Now I am itching to find somewhere flat to take my hill running legs to find out how close I am to running the 5km in 30mins.

This app is amazing, and so are all of you πŸ˜πŸ€—

What a joyous post! well done you - you must feel amazing. I am one run away from graduation and totally agree with you - make friends with the hills (mine are more bumps TBH but feel like Snowden...) and the app is nothing short of miraculous. Hope you're celebrating tonight!
