Ran to a couple of Queen tracks this morning so the title felt apt!
Just wanted to check in and say a huge thank you to everyone who has posted about this run and how it can catch you out. Thanks to reading all about it, I knew what to potentially expect and it went really well. I actually really enjoyed it! For me, the reason why this run could be potentially challenging is that it takes me a couple of minutes on each run to get into my stride and stopping and starting means I have to go through that physical and mental barrier several times instead of just once. On the flipside, knowing that I can run for 20m non stop meant that none of the runs today held any fear. I know what my body is capable of, so I could just enjoy the runs, knowing full well that I can do 8m because I've done 20m previously. I think I even ran a little faster than my usual π pace π
Good luck for anyone about to do this run, you've most definitely got it!
