... Eat, Drink, Run by Bryony Gordon. :-)

A nice light, but entertaining read for a Bank Holiday weekend! This is one of the first running books I ever read, a few years back, when I first started running. Bryony is an entertaining writer, and her running journey is well worth a read, especially if you are just starting out yourself.

You won't find many tips on running in here, but it is an incredibly honest book about an unfit woman trying to get fit and training for a marathon. Not an intellectual read, but entertaining nonetheless.

I hope that you are all enjoying your runs. I am getting out three times a week without fail, but must admit I don't like summer running much...I hate the heat! So, I guess I'll be getting up earlier and earlier in my desperate attempt to miss the worst of it – pffft!

All l can say is that one day I'll publish an epic. Give me a few years. The first running thriller out there, lol.

Thanks for another book recommendation, Sadie. I hate running in the heat too. The runs this week were so much harder, even in the early mornings.

Hope all’s well with you.

Thanks Sadie and I agree, I’m halfway through her book, the last of my pre lockdown book buys. She’s fun. 👍

Her podcasts about mental health are very good as well (Mad World).

Yes! I have listened to a few of those; was thinking of reading her books relating to mental health too. 👍
