Hi unfortunately I have fractured my Tibial plateau, it’s still very early days, frustratingly I had just started the couch to 5k, I was on week 4 I actually did 4 sessions upto week 4 doing 5 sessions of week 4, found this quite difficult actually, especially the two 5 minute runs. That’s all behind me for a while now though, I am only a week into injury still a lot of uncertainties with my recovery, I really enjoyed the running, hopefully I can start to run again next year. I didn’t injure my running, it was an accident in the home. But I have read that fracture of the tibial plateau is a common running injury. If anyone as suffered this and how was your road to recovery, have you got back to running ?
