Hi Guys,

The histology came back as nothing in lymph node (bowel cancer recurrance at 38) so they are not recommending any more chemo!! This means I can keep my hair and get back to running 😁. I'm on week 1 run 2 and 7 weeks post op. I found the runs easy, my fitness is still there thanks to couch to 5k pre op. BUT boy it's taking it out of me. Runs go well but then I need a nap and am shattered the next day. I'm having an extra days rest today before doing the last run in week 1. How are we all doing? I'm goal is to get back to running 5k. 🀞

Thank you, yes I know I will get there. Finished couch to 5k prior to surgery and ran 5k the morning of admission. Felt great and it's definitely helped my recovery 😊

Great news.

Stick with the running.

It really is the best way to build yourself back after a critical illness, but continue to be kind to yourself and don't overdo it.
