W1 R2 Done ✅ Thighs aching now!!

So I have just completed my second run and it went really well 😊 However now an hour later the front of my thighs are aching a lot !! Glad I have a rest day tomorrow’s a think I may need it

I think the say no pain no gain? Not sure how true that is but remember it does get easier. I have just started and ours bodies are being shocked. Well done though.

Make sure you do some stretches after you run that will stop the aches and pains. I had really achy thighs after one of the early runs since then I spend a few minutes doing the recommended stretches and no aches 😁

Stretching immediately after every run, nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/h... while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow.
