At last I overcame my fear of running from home (usually I drive to a very quiet road), having not run for a week, I finally decided enough was enough. So at 9am I ventured out and actually it wasn’t bad at all ... it took a little longer for my breathing to settle down but think that was due in part to feeling a touch anxious. While out, I kept my head up and even managed a couple of ‘good mornings’ to people out and about 👋 I also noticed all the tidy gardens with empty borders crying out for spring bedding currently holed up under garden centre lockdown 🌺 note to self ... do some weeding! It’s amazing what you see if you let yourself relax.
Reflecting at the end of this run it’s true that this is not a race, the 9 week programme has so far taken me over 11 weeks but with every new milestone I hit I kinda marvel at my own progress.
Well done for facing your fear which I think is a common one. I'm not far ahead of you and have only just started going out in daylight. You can weed my garden anytime your passing 😂
Well done for overcoming your fears and getting out today. Lots of us took longer than 9 weeks to complete the programme (I took 3 months). It's all good
